Rode into work for the second time this week today, super wet yesterday (should have taken my camera - forgot it's waterproof now!).

14% downhill in the morning, fun! 14% uphill on way home = less fun.

Peep-o-day, on the Hayfield to Chapel road. So called because the house (pictured) has a little tiny window that when the sun is at a certain angle shines somewhere or other, like in Raiders of the lost ark. The road looks nice and quiet here but in reality it's very busy and unpleasant, despite the nice view. I decided to descend from it today for a change and remembered why i don't go this way normally.

Had a litte mountain bike ride this morning, super hot and dusty, might have dehydrated myself. Still managed to get covered in mud though despite there being 1 litre of water in the whole Peak District.

One of the descents from Hollins Cross to Edale, really good fun.

Lose Hill and Back Tor on the way to Jaggers Clough. Before this point it was very quiet, after this point it was rammed with people. Lots and lots of DofE kids looking depressed.

Went back along the old Buxton Road under Mam Tor, very subsided, lots of potential for dangerous bike jumps considered I as I bravely rode past.

Went for a nice run up to mermaid's pool this evening with Steve and Roy. First run from Hayfield in a couple of weeks.

Climbing up from mermaid's pool.

Red brook.

Kinder Reservoir, emptiest I've seen it for ages.

Roy admiring the view from White Brow.

Start

I thought I'd start a blog to put pictures on, so here it is. Minus any pictures as I'm at work...
